Hosted by Iberdrola and CNAT in Spain, the meeting was attended by 26 nuclear professionals.
The Performance Indicators Industry Working Group (PI I-WG) meeting was moderated by steering committee members Russell Brooks of EDF Energy, and Ahmad AlShamsi of Nawah. Support was provided through the attendance and engagement of several other members (Alpiq, CEZ, a.s., CGN, CNAT, ENGIE, Fortum, Iberdrola, and Slovenské elektrárne, a.s.), as well as the IAEA and several members of the global PI team at WANO.
The agenda included updates from each of the WANO regional centres, several presentations from WANO members in attendance, and updates from each of the sub-committees.
The two-day meeting was preceded by a visit to Trillo Nuclear Power Plant. The visit included an introductory presentation, and a tour.
